I don’t really have many photos from this day’s riding, I took quite a few, but there are not many that are worth posting.
The one thing that stood out from today’s ride was that I crossed into France at the beginning of the journey and it was uncannily similar to riding some of the roads on Exmoor (the Black Cat run etc). So much so that I had to keep reminding myself to stay on the ‘wrong’ side of the road.
I had my first closed road to work round today, but it did mean that I ended up on a road with this view.

One thing I have learned over the last few days is if you set a route in Basecamp (Garmin’s route mapping software) and you do not take care with the map zoom when adding waypoints you can end up with some interesting diversions. I have a few of the following.
