En Route

A great weekend near Devizes, thanks very much to James and Sean for the running around keeping us all fed and watered, despite sampling several of the offerings from ‘Gin Narnia’ (see below) my hangover had pretty much abated by the time I had finished a lovely Sunday roast prior to heading for Portsmouth…and everyone seemed to be reaching party mode again by the time I left hope you all had a great evening.

Wow!

I left a little earlier than planned in case the rain started coming down again, fortunately only a couple of showers on the way to Portsmouth so the water proof romper suit was not required.

Brittany Ferries were pretty good at getting us on quickly for this crossing and I was on board an in the room by 21:30 (22:30 sailing), which from my limited experience is pretty good.

We arrived at Roscoff 09:00 local time to take on more passengers and for a crew change, so I took advantage of the lack of rocking and rolling to have a leisurely breakfast in the restaurant. We have just left…next stop Bilbao.

PS – I had a last minute packing re-arrangement before leaving and have just discovered my neatly stashed USB leads in the laptop bag are still in the bag…unfortunately the bag is in my office! Without the leads I cannot charge the camera battery or transfer routes to the sat nav (phone and laptop I have the leads for). Fingers crossed the on board shop will have something!
